Easy 4th of July Dish

If you need to throw together a last-minute dish for an upcoming 4th of July party, look no further! These white chocolate-covered strawberries are healthy, delicious, and SO easy to prepare.

White chocolate-covered strawberries with red, white, and blue sprinkles

All you truly need for this recipe are fresh strawberries, white chocolate, and red, white, and blue sprinkles. You can design them however you like, but I decided to try out 3 different options.

With my first design, I dipped the strawberries in melted white chocolate and then dipped them in blue sprinkles. The second design I did was super simple as I simply added red, white, and blue sprinkles on top of each dipped strawberry. For the last design, I switched it up a little and decided to incorporate some leftover blueberries I already had in my fridge. I cut each strawberry in half length-wise and then spread white chocolate on the inside with a spoon. Then, I added 3 blueberries on top of the white chocolate.

When I was finished decorating each strawberry, I placed them in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes so the chocolate could solidify. I made these the day before my 4th of July gathering last year, but this year I am going to try making them the morning of so they are even more fresh when it comes time to eat them!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays and I always look forward to the summer cookout food! Holidays can be a difficult time for our diets and it can be easy to feel guilty after indulging in so much food during special occasions.
