This super simple salted caramel dessert is something I started making for myself a few months ago and OMG is it satisfying. It's also higher in protein than other desserts so that's a fun nutrition bonus! Continue reading to learn how to make this delicious treat.
3/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 tbsp crushed pretzels
1/4 tbsp mini chocolate chips
Light drizzle caramel sauce
Scoop yogurt into a bowl. Mix in crushed pretzels and chocolate chips. Add light drizzle of caramel sauce on top. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until later.
Obviously I love this dessert because of how delicious it is, but it serves a dual purpose. This recipe serves as a good reminder that not all dishes have to be 100% healthy in order for us to feel good about eating them. As someone who has struggled with food guilt, I completely understand that the thought of taking something like Greek yogurt and smothering it with chocolate and caramel sauce can be terrifying.
